Server log files
When you call up a page, your browser transmits, for technical reasons, your IP address, the address called up, the date and time, the browser type and the page visited before. The web server of this magazine writes no access logs. The connection layer in front of it keeps technical logs briefly in order to fend off disruptions, and these are deleted after seven days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure operation.
Provision of the website
This website is provided by NexTao GmbH, Königsallee 27, 40212 Düsseldorf, on servers inside the European Union.
Audience measurement without cookies
In order to understand which content is read, we use a self-hosted analysis at analytics.axaix.app. It runs on a server in the European Union, and no data is transferred to third parties or to countries outside the EU. A service such as Google Analytics is not used.
What is recorded is only this: the page called up, the time, the referring page, the approximate region of origin at country level, the device type, the browser and the screen size. Your IP address is used only briefly in memory in order to determine the country, and is then discarded; it is neither stored nor logged. In order to tell visits apart, a check value is formed from technical details and a random value that changes daily, and it cannot be traced back to you. No cookies are set and no profiles across sites are built.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in statistics that use as little data as possible. Since no information is read from your device, no consent under section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) is required. If your browser sends the Do Not Track signal, the visit is not counted.
Prices and chain data
The prices in the price band, on the market page and in the calculators, along with the data on the Bitcoin chain, are read by your browser from a file on this server. That file is fetched by our server roughly every ten minutes from a trading venue and a public Bitcoin node. Your browser builds no connection to those providers, and no data about you is passed on to them.
Interactive tools and local storage
The tools in this magazine, for example the savings plan calculator, the holding period calculator or the knowledge quiz, run entirely in your browser. The values you enter, and the results that come out of them, are transmitted neither to us nor to anyone else. Some tools remember your last entries, for example your positions or your last quiz result, in the local storage of your browser, so that you can carry on where you left off. This data stays on your device, contains no identifier and can be deleted at any time through the settings of your browser. No cookies are involved in this.
Result graphics and sharing
The result images of the tools are drawn in your browser. When you save one, the file lands on your device. When you share one through the sharing menu of your device, your browser hands the image to the app you select, and the terms of that app then apply. Our server receives nothing of this.
Fonts
All fonts sit on our own server. No fonts are loaded from Google or other providers, so your IP address does not reach such services.
Images
All images sit on our own server. No images, videos or scripts from third parties are embedded.
Contacting us
If you write to us by email, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise them, write to info@nextao.de. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Encryption
All pages of this magazine are delivered over HTTPS. Calls over unencrypted HTTP are redirected to the encrypted address.
